The reasoning is that apart of course from the little old blueberry, there naturally exists no blue food. So blue is said to be a tummy turn off that suppresses the appetite. Red and yellow are apparently appetite triggers as reflected by the use of those colours in fast food joint decor. But the clincher came when the doctors referenced Mr Johnny Depp in their research. We have clocked Depp's fancy for the blue lens for some time although links with dieting have never been affirmed by the actor.
